Description:
Silver vinaigrette box; top has geometric rolled textured surface with a rectangular reserve in the center engraved, "EAT;" floral chased border; beveled tapering sides on both the top and bottom of the box; underside has the same rolled surface; inside is gold plated; hinged grille with bright-cut design and pierce work opens right; top interior struck with a lion passant, duty mark and the intials, "JW;" interior base struck with an anchor (Birmingham), "JW" and the date letter, gothic script "D."
