Cast silver presentation tray; oval tray with raised sides and a wide rim; applied molded band around the scalloped rim and foliate scroll decoration at the ends; engraved gothic, "D" in the center; engraved on the base, "TO/ DR. THOMAS DARLING/ FROM SOME FRIENDS IN THE/ AMERICAN CLIMATOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION/ AS AN EVIDENCE OF AFFECTION AND GOOD WILL/ PRESIDENT 1907" in block letters surrounded by the names of the members in block letters; makers' marks stamped on the base.
