Description: 
An aluminum token, embossed on one side with crowned King encircled by the words "Rex/ King of Carnival/ Monarch of Merriment". On the reverse a blank crest, an empty shield flanked by crossed sceptors and draped in cloth encircled by "Pro Bono Publico/ New Orleans/ Mardi Gras", with an artist's palette and a mask.
