A tiny paper envelope marked " 'For the Wives, Sweethearts, and Daughters of the Smokers.' ", containing a cross-stitch kit including cards of gray and purple thread, two mesh canvas cards printed with sewing guide colors and two pattern cards with directions for making and finishing the tiny cross-stitch samplers. The pattern cards read on the reverse "Cross-Stitch/ 'The Latest Craze'.../ Egyptienne Straight Cigarettes", with directions for sewing and ironing.
