Description:
Tin-glazed earthenware tile with blue and white painted decoration; buff-colored body; image of tree branch extending from base to top of tile.
Gallery Label:
According to a note on the envelope within which the tile was found, it is from the Bunivet (possibly Boudinot) House in Elizabeth, NJ. The tile is part of a larger tile picture and the inscription "C5" on the reverse is a guide to assembling the picture.
