Description: 
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing clothed facing bust of Thomas Robbins surrounded by legend within line border: "THOMAS ROBBINS D.D./LIBRARIAN - BENEFACTOR"; date below bust truncation, at center: "MDCCCCVI." Reverse contains seal of Connecticut within oval medallion at center, surrounded by legend: "CONNECTICUT . HISTORICAL . SOCIETY ."; date below, at center: "1825"; ribbon-tied oak branches on either side of medallion. Medal is inset into white square cardboard box with cream ribbed silk lining.
