Wrought silver teapot, oval, boat-shaped body on an applied oval stepped pedestal with a vertically applied die-rolled foliate scroll band around the base and a die-rolled floral and acorn band around the top where it joins the body; four paw feet applied to the pedestal; concave shoulder with an applied die-rolled foliate scroll band below and a convex band above; vertically applied, die-rolled foliate scroll band around the rim; hinged, concave lid raised to a flat oval dome in the center covered with chased acanthus leaves; hollow cast acanthus and egg finial; cast, s-curve spout with a notched lip and applied oval pendant; cast silver c-curve handle; rectangular, vertical upper handle socket and scrolled lower socket are fitted with wooden insulators; engraved, "T C V W" in script on the center front; maker's marks on base.
