Wrought silver plate teapot; oval in plan with gadrooning around the lower body; applied stepped oval foot on a scalloped oval base; plain, concave shoulder with an applied flat rim stamped with a band of dots; hinged, inset lid raised in the center to an oval dome; wooden reeded knop finial screwed through the center of the dome; straight tapered spout cast in two vertical halves; cylindrical handle sockets are fitted with a carved wooden c-scroll handle; hole in shoulder above upper handle socket; no maker's marks.
