Description:
Wrought silver sugar bowl; oval helmet-shaped body, high at the sides, low in the center; on a high, oval splayed foot with a vertically applied, plain seamed footring; wheel turned decoration around the edge of the foot; applied, reeded rim; bright-cut foliate band below the rim; bright-cut bow tied swags with shield reserves in the center on both sides of the body; maker's mark on the footring.
