Description: 
Stamp with cast metal (bronze?) handle in the form of a cherub carrying a large fish over his shoulders; cherub stands on two-tiered circular brass base with light blue and dark blue enamel on bottom of lower tier; square brass stamp face with canted corners bearing coat of arms.

According to the accession records, this stamp once belonged to John Watts de Peyster (1821-1907), grandfather of the donor.
