A color lithograph on tin showing a scene of a doctor in a tall hat with his black bag striding up the walk of a country home but casting the shadow of a stork. The reverse explains that the picture was being sent to physicians as a contest and promotion to be hung in their office as advertising. The company invited doctors to send in a title suggestion for the work, the winner receiving an award of $250 on Sept. 1, 1915. The contest was sponsored by "The Malt Nutrine Department/ Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis, Mo.", a division of the beer giant that made supposedly nutritional malt products.
