Gilt bronze struck medal with obverse showing allegorical figure of Liberty in Phrygian cap, holding laurel branch and burning torch, riding Pegasus upon cloud with rising sun in background. Reverse depicts Washington's head facing right at center, surrounded by thirteen stars, with inscription below: "PHILADELPHIA/1926"; legend around border terminating in Liberty Bell: "SESQUICENTENNIAL-INTERNATIONAL-EXPOSITION."
