Vertical rectangular linen sampler with various colors of silk thread; horizontal rows of alphabets separated by rows of designs, inscription and floral design at bottom, straight borders on all sides; cross stitched.
Gallery Label:
Cornelia Remsen, daughter of Hendrik Remsen and Cornelia Dickenzon, was christened at the Dutch Reformed Church in New York City in 1769.
