Vertical rectangular linen sampler, stitched with various colors of silk thread; five rows of alphabet lettering and one decorative row, rows separated by stitched lines; stitches include cross and eyelet.

This sampler descended in the family of Mary McDonald (1774-1860), who became Mrs. Willem Vosburgh.
