White cardboard matchbook printed in red and gold has a color photograph on the front of the matchcover that is an image of the restaurant from the street; "CLOSE COVER. STRIKE MATCH ON BACK" is printed on the footer; on the reverse within a gold printed frame "A / SAL ANTHONY'S / 55 IRVING PLACE . NEW YORK / between 17th & 18th Sts." is printed above the striker; "TEL: 98209030" is printed on the saddle; "THE DIAMOND MATCH CO NEW YORK NY" is printed on the manumark.
