Description: 
Gold plate baby / child's ring with a heart at the center and scroll work stamped at the shoulders.
Gallery Label: 
This baby / child's ring belonged to Pauline Drouillard Oothout (Mrs. Karrick Van Zandt Riggs, 1857-1919). A note found with the ring says it was her first ring. Pauline was the daughter of William (1823-1899) and Jane Elizabeth (Morgan) Oothout (1830-1913). She was a descendent of the older mercantile and banking families of New Youk. She married Karrick V. Riggs in 1884.
