Military ball badge consisting of rectangular metal pin-back bar inscribed "COMMITTEE" with attached blue silk grosgrain ribbon with superimposed narrower red and white ribbon imprinted in gold: "MILITARY/BALL/TENDERED TO/B'VT. BRIG. GEN./ARDOLPH/L./KLINE/HOTEL MAJESTIC/APRIL 27, 1916."
