Molded pearlware octagonal platter with dark blue transfer print of New York Esplanade and Castle Garden; leaf and flower border with cabling at rim; central image of esplanade in front of Castle Garden with figures strolling; Castle Garden, river and ships visible behind.
Gallery Label: 
The maker, Ralph Stevenson, printed the monogram of his firm on the sail of the boat to the right of Castle Garden.
