Description:
A large circular platter with a gold rim and four detailed images of Douglas airplanes: a four engine prop passenger plane at the top, and a four engine jet passenger plane at the bottom; on the left and right sides, military fighting jets. The reverse reads "Commemorating this 50th Year of powered flight/ and the 33rd year of Douglas Aircraft Company's/ contribution to Man's conquest of time and space/ December 17, 1953", also "Hand Made and Decorated by/ Y.H. Strickow, Los Angeles".
