A white and delft-type blue ceramic plate with scalloped edges and a very stylized leaf and floral border around a black transfer print of a drawing by turn-of-the-century illustrator Charles Dana Gibson. The print shows men and a woman waiting in what apppears to be a train station over the caption "Failing To Find Rest And Quiet In The Country, She Decides To Return Home./ Copyright 1901, Life Publishing Co." A facsimile of Gibson's signature appears with the print. Royal Doulton stamped mark on the back, made in England, 1903
