A beige pinback button printed with a state seal, crest, symbol or motto from U.S. states and territories; marked "Wyoming", with a shield marked "1868" and divided into three sections, one with mountains and a train, one with a plow, picks and shovels, and one with a raised sword over a red banner in Latin "Cedant Arma Togae". Part of a series of pre-World War I United States state buttons; some of the region names are no longer current. This button was part of a series of collectible premiums given by tobacco and gum manufacturers.
