Bronze medal suspended from bar with pin back; round medal depicting a fort and lighthouse on obverse, inscribed "SPANISH CAMPAIGN" across top and the year "1898" along the bottom; eagle with chain and anchor and wreath on reverse, inscribed "UNITED STATES NAVY and "FOR SERVICE"; blue and yellow silk ribbon connects bar and medal.

Gallery Label: 

This medal was awarded to Sanderson A. MacNamara, who enlisted in the State of New York in the United States Navy, for serving honorably in the Spanish Campaign of 1898, in Albany in October of 1917.
