Gold mechanical pencil in box; spiralling feather design along length of pencil, collar above center to extend lead from inside, flat square end with inscribed carnelian on the bottom.
Gallery Label: 
This mechanical pencil is from the McWhorter family. Beside the "M" monogram on the bottom is an image of a ship's anchor, which appears on other family objects in the collection.
