Description:
Parasol with metal ferrule, black silk shade, metal ribs with acorn-shaped black painted wooden points, and black painted wooden shaft with black silk tassel attached to cord above hexagonal handle.

A tag attached to this parasol indicates that it is from the Thompson homestead, East Hampton, Long Island.
