Description:
Handwoven wool harlequin paisley pieced shawl, in colors of white, red, blue, black, yellow, purple and green; center panel is rectangular with black center having characters or symbols embroidered to one side, flanked by elongated boteh, plant and root design; surrounded by panels with arabesque and boteh motif, across each warp end is a row of arabesque design with multicolored fringe.
