White kidskin gloves with elbow-length white silk arm covering from the wrist; floral white work on the top of the hand and two rows encircling the arm at an angle.

These gloves belonged to Elizabeth Shipton, wife of Major Aquila Giles. They came from the collection of William Ogden Giles.
