Description: 
Wooden turned and carved screw press nutcracker in the shape of a barrel with metal barrel hoop decoration; interior carved out to hold the nut; carved scalloped flange screw handle with an inlaid bird holding a worm on one side and the intials "I D W" on the other; handle is threaded and inserted through the top of the barrel into the carved interior to break the nut.
