Description:
Wooden nightstick with straight baton slightly rounded at the top and turned handle; the handle is slightly swollen at the center and is flanked by bands of ribbing; the bottom of the handle has an acorn shaped decoration.
Gallery Label:
The donor's father found this nightstick after a riot in Brooklyn in the early 1880s.
