Silver struck medal with obverse showing a group of domestic animals with laurel wreath, six stars, and six shields above; legend above: "NEW ENGLAND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY." Reverse shows central space with legend: "AWARDED TO" and inscription: "JOHN ROGERS/36 STATUETTES", surrounded by wreath of corn, fruit, and vegetables; arm with hammer above at center; ornate shield with date "1875" at lower center.
