Description:
Metal gas pipe coil link necklace (1930-1940) with gold charm (1883-1900) in the form of a jockey's hat on a "belt" bail, with a picture of a hand beneath oculus on underside.

The theme of hands in jewelry has been evident for centuries, but was very popular during the 1930s to 1940s. This necklace is from a jewelry box which belonged to Adelaide L. Livingston (1852-1909).
