Description:
Blue-green blown non-lead glass mug; tapered body pattern-molded with vertical ribs and decorated with spiral trailed thread of glass on upper half; applied loop handle crimped at both ends; attached foot with pontil mark.
Gallery Label:
Though some of the elememnts of this mug suggest at early 19th-century date, the lack of wear, overall lightness of the piece, and somewhat unstable-looking handles suggest that it might be a 20th-century reproduction.
