White cotton miter with two sashes at the back trimmed with red silk rope fringe.

Archbishop Robert Seton (1839-1927) was the grandson of Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton (1774-1821), founder of the American Sisters of Charity. He spent most of his ecclesiastic career as chaplain to St Elizabeth's convent near Madison, New Jersey.
