Souvenir menu and program from a banquet given by Elihu Root; brown leather case with a tooled gold border on front and back; gold metal foil plate on the front with the intials "E/R" superimposed over each other; gold foil seal on the reverse; white silk moiré lining with tooled border around on the inside; two paper pages sewn inside the cover; menu printed on the left and the musical program on the right.
