Description:
Copper struck medal with obverse showing elevation of neo-Gothic building with legend above: "OLD MASONIC HALL, BROADWAY, N.Y."; inscription in exergue: "ERECTED 1827/DEMOLId 1856." Reverse bears central shield with masonic symbols, flanked by eagle, at left, and lion, at right; above is eye surrounded by stars and emitting rays of light upon shield; below are scroll inscribed with motto "DEUGD., ZY UW CIERAAD" and two hands clasped in handshake; surrounding legend: "HOLLANDISCHE LOGE STAAT VAN NIEUW YORK/5787."
