Description: 
Bronze medal suspended from bar with pin back; circular medal for Spanish War Veterans 1898-1902, depicting an armed soldier; reverse bar inscribed "DIEGES&CLUST/2244" round medal inscribed "AWARDED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK/TO ONE WHO/SERVED THE NATION/WITH HONOR/1898-1899-1900" a sword is depicted down the center; striped purple, red and yellow silk ribbon connects bar and medal.

This medal was awarded to Sanderson A. MacNamara, who enlisted in the State of New York in the United States Navy, for serving honorably in the Spanish Campaign of 1898, in Albany in October of 1917.
