Copper struck uniface medal showing maltese cross with "GSC" in center surrounded by arms and anchor cut out within circle; legend: "ARMY AND NAVY/ VETERANS". Loops fused to top right and left; medal hangs by chain links from eagle pinback above outline bearing "U.S./ REGULAR".
