Description:
Bronze struck shield-shaped medal with obverse showing left front-facing bust-length portrait of Perry. Reverse shows anchor above legend: "HOPE". Slot fused to top. Medal hangs by red, white and blue striped ribbon printed in gold with "Perry's Victory/ Centennial/ 1813-1913" from pinback labeled "RHODE ISLAND".
