Gold-colored metal pin-back bar shaped like the top of a domed building, with two oval images of a seal and the Boston skyline on either side, and a scroll with the words "BOSTON/1904" below. Attached to two hanging medallions; the first embossed with "GAR" in red, white and blue in the middle and a blue scroll with "REPRESENTATIVE" above, the second with images of six red, white and blue flags around a circular portrait of a man and the words "38TH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT G. A. R."
