Description:
White metal struck medalet set into gold metal starburst. Medalet obverse shows right front-facing bust-length portrait of Dewey; legend: "WELCOME HOME/ GEO. W. DEWEY/ 1899". Reverse shows battleship at sea; in exerg.: "OLYMPIA". Loop fused at top with hanger ring.
