Brass struck medal with obverse showing right-facing bust-length portrait at center top, with two others below, above "OUR HEROES"; legend: "32ND NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT G.A.R. 1898."/ CINCINNATI, O." Reverse (stamped upside down) shows wreath encircling legend: "32ND/ NATIONAL/ ENCAMPMENT/ G.A.R./ SEP 5-10. 1898./ CINCINNATI, O." Hole punched at obverse top/reverse bottom.
