Brass struck medal with obverse showing left facing bare headed bust-length profile of Columbus seen from back; legend: "THE WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION/ CHICAGO 1893." Reverse shows building with arched entrance and flanking towers; legend in exergue.: "THE ELECTRICAL BUILDING/ 345 FT. WIDE 700 FT. LONG/ COST $401,000."
