Silver struck medal with obverse showing left-facing bearded hatted bust-length portrait of Columbus between shields with Spanish (left) and American (right) flags; legend: "CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS/ 1492 * 1893". Reverse shows domed building with flag at top; legend: "WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION CHICAGO."; in exerg.: "ADMINISTRATION/ BUILDING."
