Description:
Copper-plated lead electrotype of William Henry Harrison military medal with obverse showing uniformed bust of Harrison facing right with legend: "MAJOR GENERAL WILLIAM H. HARRISON." Reverse shows America crowning captured British and Indian arms with a wreath; a tablet on the arms bears the inscription: "FORT/MEIGS/BATTLE/OF THE/THAMES"; legend above: RESOLUTION OF CONGRESS APRIL 4. 1818"; inscription in exergue: "BATTLE OF THE THAMES/OCTOBER 5. 1813."
