Reverse shows winged allegorical figure of Victory, holding standards inscribed "ERIE," "CHIPPEWA," and "NIAGARA," and dictating to muse of History seated at right; legend: "RESOLUTION OF CONGRESS NOVEMBER 3. 1814."; inscription below exergual line: "BATTLES OF CHIPPEWA./JULY 6.1814./NIAGARA. JULY 25.1814./ERIE. SEP.17. 1814."
