Reverse depicts battle sceme at Saranac River and naval battle on Lake Erie with legend above: "RESOLUTION OF CONGRESS NOVEMBER 3. 1814."; inscription in exergue: "BATTLE OF PLATTSBURGH/SEPT.11.1814."
