Description: 
"Little Workers Picture Cubes" a set of twelve picture puzzle blocks with images of children playing at adult jobs making up six puzzles on each side of the cube blocks and six lithographed images of the finished puzzles in a paper covered cardboard and wooden box; puzzles include "The Jeweler" with two girls examining the contents of a jewelry box; "The Pastry Cooks" with two girls, one rolling dough the other looking on; "The Optician" with a boy and girl trying on oversized glases; "The Shoemaker" with a boy making a pair of doll shoes for a girl and boy; "The Barber" with a boy cutting the hair of a smaller boy while a third looks on; and "Building a Doll House" with a boy making a doll house as a girl looks on; box cover lithographed with the above "Doll house" image and inscribed, "LITTLE/ WORKERS/ PICTURE/ CUBES/ COPYRIGHT/ 1901/ by McLOUGHLIN BROS./ NEW YORK/ McLOUGHLIN BROS./ NEW YORK.".
