Description: 
"Life's Mishaps: A Merry Game and Domino Rex" board game with a hinged box that opens like a book with two boards on the interior; both sides with numbered medallions in the center labeled "DOMINO REX" and black and white checkerboards with domino marks on some of the black squares in the remaining areas; box opens to a circular board with "Life's Mishaps" chromolithographed on the reverse, circular path leading toward the center with 47 spaces, some of the spaces have images of a man having trouble with a series of tasks; game board slides into cardboard sleeve with a chromolithographed label with an image of a man running away from a chained dog inside the inscription, "LIFE'S MISHAPS/ A/ MERRY GAME/ McLOUGHLIN BROS. NEW-YORK"; playing pieces include thirty-six wooden playing pieces, a paper instruction booklet and six bone counters.
