Description:
Bronze struck medal with uniformed bust of Stephen Cassin facing right with legend: "STEP.CASSIN TICONDEROGA PRAEFECT. QUAE REGIO IN TERRIS NOS./NON PLENA LAB." Reverse shows naval battle scene with legend: "UNO LATERE PERCUSSO. ALTERUM/IMPAVIDE VERTIT" and inscription below exergual line: "INTER CLASS. AMERI./ET BRIT DIE XI SEPT./MDCCCXIIII."
