Description: 
Two metal keys on a rectangular keyring. One key is stamped "WORLD TRADE CENTER DO NOT DUPLICATE" on one side, on the obverse: "2A2825965". The other key is stamped: "ASSA v10TM" "twin" "A09", on the obverse: has a bar code decal with serial number 00079784, and stamped with AFA-CK6.

Landscape painter Marjorie Portnow (b. 1942) used these keys to gain access to her artist's studio on the 91st floor of the North tower of World Trade Center. Her studio was made available by the "World Views" artist-in-residency program launched in 1997 by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, in conjunction with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. "World Views" provided free studio space for a six-month period to emerging visual artists.
