Description: 
A dark greenish-black cardboard box containing a kit of transparent enamels that can be used to simulate gemstones. Inside are five hand-finished, cork lip bottles, four with different color enamels labeled "Apollo Studio's Metalography Transparent Enamel for imitating..." and included are Topaz, Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire colored enamels and one bottle of "Thinning Solution". The yellow inside of the lid reads in part, in brown, "Apollo Studios Metalography/ Transparent Enamels/ Splendid color effects may be produced by applying the Transparent Enamels to candle shades, lamp shades, etc., after they have been pierced...". Two hollow celluloid brushes with hair ends are included.
